Context
The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is a federal program that provides health screening, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, referrals, and nutritious food to more than seven million low-income and nutritionally vulnerable women, infants, and children across the United States.

The purpose of this study examines the reach and effectiveness of the programmatic changes following Covid-19, including how and the extent to which the changes impacted enrollment, participation, client and staff satisfaction, fod purchasing, and food security. And the research will inform policy change to improve the WIC program.
